How to Use The E-Z Hook Tie Tool:
- Place the hook inside the slot with the point facing the hinge side.
- Align the hook so the eye sits outside the device where you can easily access it.
- Close the tool around the hook to lock it in place and prevent rotation.
- Thread your fishing line through the hook eye using the larger, easy-grip body.
- Tie your knot (clinch, Palomar, loop knot, whatever you prefer).
- Open the tool to release the hook once your knot is formed.
- Tighten the knot and rig your tackle as usual.
Note:
The hinge has been tested to be durable. However, if it ever breaks, the tool still functions fully, the central hook-holding stems fit securely into the cap even without the hinge. The hinge simply keeps the tool as a single piece so the two halves aren’t separated or lost.
