Microbit Modular Case with Battery Mount

👋 Introduction

This design aims to hold your micro:bit board (V2) and battery holder nicely in one piece. The battery mount is removable, making it modular. This model consists of three parts: the top and bottom body parts, and a battery mount.

[Onshape] ⚠️The battery holder (2x AAA) I used to design the mount measures 63x25.5x16mm.

🔧 Assembly

Before assembling your parts, test and slide fit first. If it is too tight, use a piece of sandpaper or a file to grind the wedge and the slot. Each time, grind a bit and test again; this can prevent overdoing.

1	Mount the battery holder. If your battery holder has a switch, please make sure it is facing outward and positioned to the right.
2	Slide the battery module into the bottom part, and pass the 2-pin wire through the hole of the bottom part.
3	Connect the micro:bit board with the 2-pin wire, and fit the board into the top part.
4	Slide the top part into the bottom part from below.
