I loved that duck9r remixed the original to include the larger Max model of the dock but I didn't love the top piece and the cable sticking out - so I moved forward with redesigning it to fit with friction and have the Switch 2 dock in from the top.
This is meant for use with the Dbrand Killswitch and as such will not have as snug of a fit if used without it.
At this time, I have no plans to design this for Switch 2 without the Killswitch case as this was my first 3D Modeling experience in TinkerCAD and.
Just need 4 screws from the dock.
The two that hold the motherboard in place as well as the two from the USB C port. Might require a little extra pressure to get the screws to go through the USB C part and the screws start pushing the filament up from underneath - havent seen any issues with this since it works with the KillSwitch case.
This was the only way to get the USB C port up high enough to full slot into the Switch 2 with the Killswitch installed.
You could probably also include a glue on the lip to more securely connect the top and bottom halves but that's your call.
I dont plan on ever taking this thing apart so a couple dabs of super glue seals it shut
