Magnet Dispenser Pen – Fast Print, Easy Load, Polarity-Friendly

After finding that most magnet dispensers online were tall prints, I designed this horizontal-printing magnet dispenser pen. Because it prints lying down instead of vertically, it uses far fewer layers, giving you a stronger part, cleaner walls, and a much quicker print overall - around 45 mins for this one.

This version is built for 6 mm diameter × 3 mm thick magnets and comes in three simple parts:

Main Body

Holds your stack of disc magnets securely and slides smoothly thanks to the horizontal design.

Sliding Magnet Carrier

A small insert with a magnet slot. Pop a magnet into the slot and it acts like a “grabber” to pull the next magnet from the stack.
You can print this piece in red or blue to help mark polarity.

Press-Fit Cap

Clips onto the End to stop the slider falling out. Also printable in red or blue so you can colour-code the ends.
