Here are some important details for anyone printing and launching this 3D-printable model rocket.
🔥 Weight & Simulation Differences
The Bambu Lab file uses 50% infill, which makes the airframe lighter than the 100% infill used during the simulation tests.
This means your printed rocket should reach a higher apogee than the simulation results suggest, especially when using the recommended C-class motors.
Also note: Ejection charges were set to 5 seconds in the simulations.
Materials needed:
- 5mm Flat Elastic Band - one end of this will be sandwiched between the 5mm slot in the main rocket fuselage and the shock chord fastener using superglue.
- Plastic bag - cut out a hexagon with a distance of 38cm from points passing through the centre to the opposite point.
- Heat Resistant material (rocket recovery wadding) - should be placed inside the main fuselage right above the motor.
Rocket Engines - C6-5(Klima & Estes), [A6-4, B4-4, C6-7(Klima)] embedded links. The motors can be slid in; if lose add tape to the motor.

- Launch rod diameter should be 3.2mm
Thank you for trying it out and enjoy the launch!
