Descrição
This is a unique 3D-printed dice design shaped like a sphere, combining the smooth look of a ball with the function of a six-sided die.
Inside the model is a cavity where you can insert a BambuLab plastic ball to act as an internal weight, ensuring the dice naturally settles to show one of the six faces — just like a standard D6, but round and futuristic.
The model is printed in two halves. You can simply glue them together, or use small 5 mm pieces of 1.75 mm filament as connecting pins — there are four dedicated alignment slots designed for that purpose. This makes assembly quick and precise while securely trapping the marble inside. make sure to align it right when not using some filament cutoff.
Printing takes around 30 minutes and uses less than 10 g of filament. Some supports are needed, but the overall print is very clean and easy to manage on any FDM printer.
I use variable layer height to make it look even cleaner, check out the included 3mf file
Perfect for makers who enjoy clever mechanical design, fun geometry, or tabletop accessories with a twist.
