🚀 New: Parametric Drawers V2!
I’ve released a conceptually redesigned version. While it maintains the same look, V2 is the new base for all future updates and introduces:
- 🔒 Locking Pins (for secure vertical stacking)
- 🧩 Lateral Connectors (for side-by-side expansion)
🗂️ Parametric Drawer Module – Standard & Lightweight Versions
This project is a fully parametric drawer module composed of three printable components:
- Base Module – a single frame containing all drawer slots (1 to 10).
- Drawers – automatically resized based on Width, Length, and Height parameters.
- Top Cover – a flat plate you can print as-is for a smooth surface, or customize with organizers, grids, holders, or other functional add-ons.
Both the Standard and Lightweight versions share the same geometry and parameter structure.
However, because their feet differ in size, the two versions cannot be stacked together.
(Modules of the same type stack perfectly. Drawers remain interchangeable.)
The Lightweight (LW) version is experimental and still under development: please read the Lightweight Version warning below before printing large modules.
Important: print using PLA only. Other materials may cause wall deformation.

- Full parametric: you can set custom Width, Length, Height and Quantity.
- Width – total module width
- Length – total module depth
- Height – height of a single drawer
- Quantity – number of drawers in one module
- Stackable – set 0 for a flat bottom or 1 to enable 4 feet compatible with the top sockets
- Single solid frame
- Drawers are generated directly inside one unified block.
- Top alignment holes
- Included for stacking, for the top cover, or for attaching custom plates such as Gridfinity adapters, tool trays, organizers, and modular add-ons.Custom sizes and variations available on request
- Drawer Pull Options
- Each drawer now offers two pull options:
- Finger Pull Slot – the classic recessed area for pulling drawers with your fingers (default).
- Handle Holes – two holes (2.4 mm diameter, 40 mm spacing) designed to fit the @wolfgang.wendef handle.
The handles are provided in a separate print profile published by @wolfgang.wendef below my model.
- Each drawer now offers two pull options:
- Custom variations available on request
- Need a different top plate, drawer style, or Gridfinity-compatible layout? No problem!

- Light_mode (Temporarily Disabled) : adds frame cutouts to reduce filament usage significantly
⚠️ Warning – Experimental Version
- The Lightweight (LW) version is structurally fragile on large configurations.
Due to thinner walls, they may warp or flex, especially on wide or deep modules.
This can result in poor drawer sliding or drawers getting stuck. - This version is provided for testing and feedback only.
For reliable prints, especially large modules, use the Standard (STD) version.
