The IronStack Container is a 3D-printed storage box modeled after a stack of weight plates, built for anyone who loves the mindset of progress—both in the gym and in life. Measuring 95 mm (3 ¾ in) tall and 150 mm (6 in) wide, it’s a sturdy, clean design for holding gym accessories, supplements, jewelry, coins, or keepsakes.

It includes a second customizable lid, leaving a blank surface for you to personalize in Bambu Studio with a name, goal, or motivational quote. Each print can become a reflection of your own training journey.

This design was created entirely by hand—no AI assistance was used. Every curve and fit was modeled with intention, focusing on clean geometry and reliable tolerances for makers who appreciate craftsmanship.

Magnetic Lid System

Four 6 × 3 mm neodymium magnets align precisely to hold the lid tight—strong enough to feel secure, yet effortless to open with a simple slide-off motion. For correct polarity every time, use the Magnet Presser with Stand when installing your magnets.

🖨️ Recommended Print Settings

• Minimum bed: 150 × 150 mm
• Walls/Perimeters: 5
• Top Layers: 5
• Bottom Layers: 5
• Infill: 10% Gyroid
• Filament: PLA or PETG
• Supports: Not required for main parts
  (may vary depending on printer and filament choice)

📦 Bill of Materials

• 8× round magnets – 6 mm diameter x 3 mm thick
  • 4 magnets for the lid
  • 4 magnets for the box body
• A drop of CA (super glue) or epoxy for securing magnets (optional but recommended).

Tip: Mark one face of all magnets with a marker before installation so you keep polarity consistent.

All primary parts are 3D printed.

🔧 Assembly Instructions

Tools Needed

• A small amount of CA gel adhesive
• Magnet Presser with Stand (recommended for perfect polarity and depth alignment)
• Optional: Lightweight Hammer

1️⃣ Install Magnets in the Container

1. Place the first magnet into the Red Magnet Presser and then one of the four magnet recesses on the container base.
2. Use the Magnet Presser to press the magnet flush into its pocket gently.
   • The presser ensures even pressure and prevents chipping or tilting.
   • A small hobby hammer may be needed to press in place
   • Ensure the magnet is level with the surface or very slightly below.  Note: if the magnet is raised above the surface, a gap will form between the lid and the container. 
3. Apply a tiny drop of gel CA to secure it.

2️⃣ Align and Install Magnets in the Lid

1. Repeat for the remaining three recesses using the red Magnet Presser
   • Repeat Step 1 for the lid using the Blue Magnet Presser, ensuring the magnet poles face each other and the lid “clicks” shut cleanly every time.

3️⃣  Cure and Test Fit

• Allow adhesive to cure fully (usually 10–15 min).
• Once cured, test-fit the lid. It should align magnetically and slide open with a smooth pull.
