Hello everyone, I've been continuing my mission to get my workshop organised with Gridfinity. After creating the Spool Storage System and the Customisable Drawers, I needed the most essential building block: a simple bin.

But of course, a one-size-fits-all bin is never the right size. That's why I've created the Customisable Gridfinity Bin & Lid Generator.

This tool follows the same philosophy as my drawer system. It's a single, powerful generator that lets you create the exact bin you need, perfectly tailored to your tools and space. Whether you need a long, thin bin for files, a small divided one for screws, or a tall one for drill bits, this tool can make it.

• Fully Parametric: You have complete control over the bin's dimensions.
  • Set the Width in Gridfinity units.
  • Set the Length in Gridfinity units.
  • Set the Height in Gridfinity units.
• Custom Partitions: You can add dividers across both the length and/or width to create the perfect number of compartments.
• Stackable Lid Included: The generator also creates a matching lid. The lid is 1 Gridfinity unit (7mm) tall, making it fully stackable with all other Gridfinity modules.
• Simple & Support-Free: Every bin you generate is designed to be a fast, easy, and support-free print.

Printing Tips

• This is a very straightforward model. However, for larger bins, I recommend using a brim to prevent any corners from lifting and ensure it remains perfectly flat.
