The Solder Scroll makes soldering more ergonomic by allowing you to just scroll on the pen shaped tool to add solder. By rotating the knob, the tool can be adjusted to accomodate different diameters of soldering wire (0.3 - 1.5mm). A length of soldering wire is stored on the back and can easily be refilled.

All parts are easily printable without support on an FFF/FDM 3D-printer. The assembly requires no glue or metal fasteners.

that added a luer lock thread so that a luer lock syringe nozzle could be added. This keeps the end of the solder away from the 3d printed material and less likely to suffer heat damage. It also directs the end of the solder more precisely. It's not mandatory to use a luer lock syringe nozzle but the remixed model adds this flexibility.

However it did not include a full set of components (most had to be downloaded separately from Printables) and did not include any material support.

This remix uses the original model files without the increased clearances that are not necessary for Bambu printers. It also includes the addition of a tiny support on the end of the syringe mount. This support is easily removed after printing.

The default profile has all of the components on a single build plate for rapid printing. I printed my models with the main component in a contrasting colour so that it's easy to see where the securing clips are.

The profile uses PLA as I've found this to be satisfactory. If you encounter problems with heat distorting the end of the model then you may need to use a filament more resistant to high temperatures.

I've tested the tool works well with solder diameters ranging from 0.3mm to 1mm when paired with a suitable nozzle as shown in the photographs.

Note that the photographs show solder scrolls with luer needles added which are not part of the model and must be purchased  separately in a size suited to the solder diameter being used.
