ClickLock

This simple but effective latch prevents your cat (or curious kids) from opening cabinet doors.
It works using a spring-loaded locking tab that keeps the door securely closed — but can still be easily opened by an adult with a quick press.

You’ll need:

🪛 1x M4 screw (about 8 mm long works fine)
🌀 1x spring, ideally around 38 mm long, with an outer diameter ≤ 6 mm and wire thickness around 0.5 mm.
You can even reuse a pen spring, but a slightly longer and stronger one works best.

The latch is easy to print and install by screws or tape. Just screw it in, insert the spring, and enjoy peace of mind knowing your furry engineer (or tiny human) won’t raid your cabinets anymore 😸
