This is a 1:1 scale replica of a 5cm PaK38 shell casing. I drew this up myself based on a couple of original 1943 shell casings in my collection. I don't have a SprengGranate projectile, so I had to go off of pictures for it. But I own the PanzerGranate projectile and used calipers to take dimensions from that to draw up this replica. 

I tried to include the full size of the shell casing, which is about 16 and a half inches tall (419mm) so that you could cut it in half yourself if you want. However, Bambu wouldn't let me upload that with a plate that can't be printed. I included two cut versions with dowels. One is hollow most of the way down the shell with 3 dowel pins, and the other is only hollow towards the top with one dowel for you to fit the projectile in, which might give it a little more weight. The projectile fits snugly into both the original casing and into the 3D printed one, but still easily removable. 

I didn't have a copper filament at the time of printing, but that would give the drive band a better look. Overall, this compares very well to my original shell casings and projectile. Eventually, I'll draw up the stencilling for the markings and upload that as well. I have not tried to scale these down yet.
