This model was inspired by a photo I found online, but I created it entirely from scratch – from the concept and sculpting to printing and painting. I wanted to combine the strength and raw power of a gorilla with the elegance of a classic gentleman, creating a contrast that feels both humorous and stylish.

The figure is designed as a detailed bust, featuring a textured fur surface and carefully sculpted facial features. The outfit – a tuxedo with a red bow tie – was hand-painted with metallic blue and red tones to give it a refined, realistic finish.

The cigar is printed separately, which allows it to be easily replaced with a real cigarette for added realism or customization. This small detail adds a fun and expressive touch to the overall character.

I printed it using PLA filament at 0.12 mm layer height, with a total print time of around 9 hours. After printing, I did l hand painting with acrylics to enhance the contrast between the skin and the clothing.
