I had a mess of cables going to my network switch (photos show the mess before).  I had a 24 port patch panel that I wired up.  I designed this hinged patch panel holder for 6mm screws and extra spacers so that I can open the patch panel up all the way with full support along the plywood for punching the wires down.  Once everything is connected, fold the patch panel back 90 degrees, put another 6mm screw on the top and bottom, and the patch panel isn't going anywhere.  This worked great and I wish I had done this years ago!
