An elegant watch winder with wood slots (3d printable panels now available!). I made a new version, smaller than the previous one and with the possibility to install Pogo pins for a second winder. 

It works with a D1 mini microcontroller and a stepper motor.

Please, take into consideration that my connections used between D1 mini and motor driver maybe don't work in the same order for you (may vary depending on the motor used). So if the motor doesn't rotate properly, change the order unless you find the right combination.

The D1 Mini will generate a WiFi network named “Watch Winder” for the first 10 minutes after power on. During this time you can connect to this net and configure your winder. The WiFi network SSID and password  (default 12345678) can be edited in the firmware. Also the 10 minutes of WiFi visibility can be extended.
To configure your winder, navigate to this url [http://192.168.4.1/](http://192.168.4.1/) (the default IP may vary, check Serial prints) and setup the number of turns, speed and delay. 
Speed 1-5: 1 is the highest speed, 5 the slowest.
Number of turns: for example 2 turns mean that the winder will do 2 turns clockwise and 2 turns counterclockwise then delay for the delay time.
From my tests, the best configuration is 3 turns - speed 2 - delay 7.
