"The Cube" Modular Controller Housing
This is a modular, configurable, stackable housing for chamber controls. You can use a temperature controller combined with a chamber heater, speed controls (or just on/off switches) for Bento Box or other filtration systems, LED light controls. As long as the controller fits in the housing, the possibilities are many.
Disclaimer - Only do this if you are comfortable working with electrical and wiring. Use the models at your own risk.
I created the ones shown to control my 5015 Pull BentoBox Base w/ Heater Mount Remixed by Engineered Reality MakerWorld: Download Free 3D Models
The printed parts for one cube are:
(1) Frame
(1) Base
(2) Sides (the vent holes can be customized to whatever infill you want)
(1) Rear Plate
(1) Front Plate
Optional: TPU Feet and Gridfinity Top
Multiple cubes can be stacked together and the top holes can hold 6mm magnets for the Gridfinity Top. The TPU feed simply push onto the screw heads inside the base.
Required Hardware:
(4) M3x8 Socket Head Screws (w/ lock washers if you want)
(4) M3x6 Heat Thread Inserts
Purchased Parts for the 2 cubes shown:
Power Supply for Fan Speed Controller = any decent DC power Supply with 5.5x2.1 Connector (I used a scrap one I had from an old router)
AC Connectors (note I am not listing the AC IN connector because I used a non-polarized one and had to mark the cable to make sure I got it right - you need a polarized connector)
DC Connectors (I just got the whole set since it was only a couple dollars more than 2 and 3 packs and gave me options)
Whatever electronics you are connecting to.
The Thermostat Controller also comes with a 4mm temperature probe. If you want a probe holder for inside your P1/X1 see HERE.
