This is a remix of my 150mm magnetic target thats a bit more robust and easy to assemble and use. The main difference is the base, as the target itself has only minor changes to the BC side, which now allows the addition of embedded magnets to hold onto the base. This upgrade now allows the target to be mounted sideways or upside down to any magnetic surface, and also has mounting slots to allow the use of screws to fasten it anywhere. 

The profile includes 3 target pieces, a magnetic base and an optional TPU cover. The TPU cover is just to add an extra layer of friction for the base to prevent slipping on smooth magnetic surfaces and adds an extra layer of protection for any magnets that may come loose. 

The magnets for the base are designed to be press-fit, but some tolerances may not be like mine and may be loose. if this is the case, I recommend supergluing them into the base and using the TPU cover if possible. The TPU cover is also designed to be friction fit into the slot holes on the base, requiring no hardware to use :)  

Full BOM list includes:

• 18, 6x3mm round magnets (for target to hold together)
• 16, 10x3mm round magnets (for the base, 5 for target attachment and 11 for bottom of the base)
• 5, 8x3mm round magnets (for attaching target to base. 6mm may also work, but YMMV)

Creator notes about the project: 

This is a foundational target base that will be incorporated into a larger project coming in the future, which intends to make this a multi-target, interactive shooting gallery complete with ws2812b led's, esp32's, photocell sensors among other things. It is currently in development and will be a more advanced project with soldering skills and basic electronics/microcontroller/coding knowledge necessary. It has a functioning prototype but still needs to be tweaked and optimized but “Quickdraw” is coming soon, so be on the look out for updates! Boosting and commercial memberships really help for target and game development costs, contributions are unexpected, but highly appreciated.
