This is a toy switchblade folding knife I designed. This design uses a rubber band to move the blade and a spring to tension a button to lock the blade in place in the open and closed position. There is a full size and mini version. The full size and mini versions share all the same parts expect for the blade and handle.

Support Removal and Assembly Instructions

• The only supports that need to be removed are on the blade. A version of the blade with the supports removed can be seen in the assembly animation.
• For this design the only hardware you will need is a spring and rubber band. I would recommend cutting down a pen spring and finding a rubber band you have sitting around. Here are the links to the springs and rubber bands I use. You can get information about the correct sizes from the links.
