This is a Zero Clearance insert for the Festool CSC SYS 50 tablesaw. It will act as a replacement for the stock insert and allows for cleaner cuts, especially small parts.
If you like this model, also have a look at my fine adjustment for the parallel guide / rip fence for the Festool CSC SYS.
There are now three versions, one with text and guidance strip, a clean one and now one with customizable text in the slicer:
- Text/Stripe: is meant to be printed with an AMS or H2D Dual Nozzle in two colors. The quality/accuracy may depend on your printer, printer's settings and filament.
Clean: is just the insert itself, without need for colors or fuzzing around with filaments and settings.

- Updated profile Free Text: It is now possible to choose your own text and place it anywhere you like. The text should be cleaner now and is created in Bambu Studio and can therefore be adjusted to fit the saw blade if needed. This allows you to create custom inlays for different saw blades.
To do this, go to the Objects tab in Bambu Studio and under Assembly, modify the text from “Text Blade” or “Text Festool” as desired. Or simply delete it entirely if you prefer – then you'll just have a plain strip. The font used is Bahnschrift, choose any font you want.
General settings are standard 0.2m layer, 2 walls, 15% infill and so on. Everything seems to be stiff enough.
Printable on Bambu H2D. P1 and X1 series should also work, maybe rotate diagonally. A series also works with diagonal rotation, according to user Bob.
PLA works fine, feel free to use whatever you want or have on hand.
Assembly note:
- lower your saw blade to the absolute minimum
- remove the old insert by unscrewing the three scres with a PZ2 bit (and please do not let them fall into the gap… somehow i know this is a stupid idea…)
- depending on your saw blade when installing and cutting in a new insert you may need to start with just tightening the front screw, otherwise the saw may not start properly and block since the insert slightly touches the sawblade.
- If that still does not work try loosening the front screw and carefully hold the insert in place while starting
- slowly rise the running blade and cut in the insert
- by now, all screw should be tightened
