Pumpkin Lantern

I caught my wife scrolling Amazon, eyeing these oh-so-fancy pumpkin lanterns. She looked at me and said, “You couldn’t 3D print something like that.”

Challenge accepted.

And here we are—pumpkin lanterns that are functional, spooky, and ready to shine.

They’re built to glow—drop in a candlelight or any light source you like, and you’ve got instant Halloween vibes. For the best results, I suggest using transparent filament for the middle so the light really shines through. I also recommend gluing the hat to the head once you’re happy with the fit.

It was really fun designing these, and I’m looking forward to seeing the color combos people come up with. Have fun with it—that’s half the magic.

Each lantern is separated into four parts—the base, middle, head, and hat—so you can mix and match colors however you like. Want a classic orange pumpkin with a black hat? Go for it. Neon green glow with a purple top? Even better.

The design makes it easy to print the parts separately and swap in your own creative combinations. That way, every lantern can be as unique (or spooky) as you want it to be. 🎃✨
