The first bone chandelier which you can actually 3D print is here!
This unique chandelier design is mini version inspired by real medieval human bone decorations you can find in Sedlec Ossuary in Kutna Hora, Czech republic.
I wanted to model this long time ago, but never had time or skill required for this, but finally got it! It took me about a month to design, ~60h to print, and it was totally worth it.
The model uses battery powered LED tea candle lights and when lit up, it creates very nice play of shadows on the ceiling, creating one of the most unique spooky Halloween vibes.
Chandelier consists of 99 pieces, and you will need about 1,2kg of Bambulab bone-white PLA.
There are multiple versions in print profiles available:
Original - for standard makers supply battery candles
A1 optimized - added brim for moving bed printers for reliable print
Bigger candles mod - increased cavities for bigger remotely operated candles (39x28mm)
Wired version - contains hollow channels to feed cables wiring and different light cavities optimised for ceramic G4 sockets.
Dimensions of finished model:
55cm in diameter (22")
37cm height (15")
Do you like this project, but its too big for you? No worries! Check my smaller bone lantern version.
