A simple head-shaped hat stand, designed to use minimal material while filling out the hat to prevent crushing. Designed to hold one hat in a safe location, such as the top of the closet. 

Prints in 2 plates and just 50g of material (using my print profile). No glue or screws required, but you may wish to glue it to ensure bottom ring never falls off. 

Assembly

1.  Take the two frame pieces (the fish shaped ones) and notice that the middle notch at the top and bottom are opposites. Place the frame with the central bottom notch open upward on your work surface upright. 

   

2. Turn the other frame 90 degrees and slide it inside the first frame from the side, then slide its downward facing notch into the first frames upward facing notch. 

   

3. You will notice the top notches cannot be easily aligned. To do this you must force the 2nd (notch downward) frame up over the first frame, they will bend. Keep going until they pop into place. 

   

4. Once youve made sure the top and bottom notches are snug together, simply slide the ring into the bottom slots.
