This model features a sight riser meant to mount onto picatinny rails. This model was inspired from my personal need for a sight riser and since the ones on the market are very expensive, I decided to make my own. It is used on my setup in which i have a fixed front post which obstructs my view when using red dot sights without the riser. I designed it using SolidWorks and after a few iterations, I have a good model that I am sharing with you all. This model is perfect for people who want just a bit of extra elevation on their sight which allows you to get on target faster. It is also be very useful for CQB training and airsoft as sight risers are more ergonomic in CQB practices.

There are 2 versions of this model, a normal length and an extended length. I personally use the normal length as it works well with my red dot, but i added the extended version for people that might be using a sight that has a bigger profile to it. Print whatever fits your needs. Note you may to use a hammer or mallet to lightly tap the sight riser into place based on what material you are printing with.
