LED Border Frame for Multiboard — Parametric, Modular, and Corner-Ready

This parametric LED border frame is designed specifically for Multiboard and modular grid systems.

It mounts using the side clips - no front-face bolts or screws - so you keep a clean aesthetic and maximize usable surface area.

The default configuration is optimized for an 8×8 Multiboard with offset mounts ≥ 12 mm.

The LED groove (10 mm width) fits all common LED ribbon strips, and the 5° wall-facing angle delivers smooth, indirect backlighting instead of glare.

💡 Installation Tips

• Remove the board mounts before installing the LED ribbon for a faster, cleaner fit.
• Use Lite Dual Clips for assembly—strong hold, minimal bulk.
• Works great for workspace lighting, display shelves, or accent edges around modular panels.

🧩 Update — Fusion 360 Parametric Version (9-25-2025)

Now fully integrated with Maker World Suite via Fusion 360 parameters!

Change just one setting - board_width - and the model automatically scales the LED frame and adds the correct number of clips for your Multiboard size.

Default parameters already fit most 10 mm LED strips, but you can fine-tune:

• led_width (channel width)
• led_height (channel depth)
• led_angle (light tilt)

🔺 Update (10-25-2025) — Added Corner Support

Now includes inner and outer mitered corners through new parameters:

• miter_angle_left
• miter_angle_right

Use these values:

• 0° = Straight section
• 45° = Outer corner
• –45° = Inner corner

Gap tolerances are intentional for easy print alignment - no need to tighten them further. You don't need supports when printing, make sure you are printing off it's back (channel side up).
