Bolt-Action Rifle

This is a fully functional bolt action rifle powered by 3 rubber bands, with one powering the trigger system. Outside of these rubber bands, everything else is 100% 3d printed, no screws, springs, or glue. It fires 15mm shells which are stored on the stock to allow fast reloading. Each shell is loaded individually into the barrel by pulling the bolt back. The barrel also has iron sights for you to help aim at your abiotic target.
Assembly Video:
Your rubber band size may vary from mine, so your amount placed on the firing pin may vary. If you seek to remove a snapper from a slot, use a pair of tweezers and jam them between the edge and snapper, pull upward and it should flick out.
The print profile I have provided for you uses brims for very long and/or tall parts, I recommend using a utility knife to cleanly remove the brims.
Printing models on your own:
1. Use 60% infill on the front bolt
2. Use 40% infill on the bolt handle
3. Use brims for long parts and tall parts, notably the body, bolt, barrel, and firing rod.
4. Print the firing rod horizontally and add supports at the tip.
5. Print the barrel horizontally.

I got the inspiration to build this thing while I was playing a VR game called “Into The Radius” where the primary weapon was a individual round loading, bolt-action rifle with 5-6 rounds placed on the stocks side for easy loading, I found it fun and satisfying enough to use that I ended up modeling and building a physical one for you guys to print.
When operating the rifle, pointing downwards will result in the bullet falling out, there is a divot in the barrel to prevent sliding, but it is not designed for aiming directly downward.
If the trigger system fails to catch the firing pin when pushing the bolt forward, removing the bolt, using the trigger, and reinserting the bolt will fix it.

Safety notice
- I am not responsible for any misuse or modifications that could cause harm to anyone, do not aim at people, pets, or anything that is dangerous.
- Keep out of reach for children under 3 years old. The small parts could present a choking hazard.
- Adult supervision is recommended for children or young users.
- Ensure you are not using very old and used up rubber bands, doing so can result it in snapping unexpectedly.
- Do not put an extreme number of rubber bands on each launcher (5-6+)
- Do not look into the barrel, even if you think nothing is inside it
