Heres a reinvented variation of fold mounting the Panda Touch Screen design. I made it super simple, quick to print and very minimalistic. Give it a shot and let me know what you think. Basically you'll only have to print 2 small brackets that push in to the back of the charging plate. I made them to press fit, however given the depth isn't much and variations in printing, if you decide to run them you'll probably want to add a dab of glue to hold them in place. Then just print the adapter that slides over the original display and connect the brackets to the adapter with some screws.

Keeps the folding style mounting minimal on time and material while keeping it low profile. Take it off and go mobile with it without a problem since the brackets are so low profile you'll barely notice them. Basically instead of designing entire mounting plate solutions, just add these brackets to the original equipment.
