So.. This is my somewhat failed attempt at making monthly/weekly planner. Why failed? Because it is somewhat cumbersome to lug around, so i will be making another, thinner version, with rubber band, like some that are here in the community. I'd recon it could be better used as standard office paper binder, but for that it needs to be edited a little. The  idea was to make binder, that can be turned sideways and completely folded, but even with double hinges on both sides- it doesn't work 100%, because paper also have its resistance, and if it will be thick enough, it will gold it in place. But it looks cool so i decided to share.

How does it work?

Hinges are connected with 1.75mm filament pushed through. It holds OK. I cut filament about 2-3mm shorter and push it all the way in- as it is bent on spool a little, it holds itself in pretty well. put papers through rings and squeeze rings into sockets, and that's it- now you have a binder that folds completely over! 

About design (writings):

I'm adding .step file of complete assembly(made in Fusion360), so you can make it completely your own. as i don't have AMS, i made it pause on the layer of writing, and another pause right after- there are also 3 layers of other color in side, but for me it only adds to “coolness” of design.

Print settings:

For design on the cover (if you want to pause print to change filament manually) you need to have print by layer enabled, while i suggest for smaller part to be print by object to reduce stringing. All the rest is same old- enable ironing for smoother surfaces or dont for various finish effects- up to you.

I printed with PLA, and it works nice for now, it hasn't been left in a car in sun, so cannot say about long term use.

For me- You can do whatever you want with it, just remember to link back at my creation if you decide to spin out remix or sell your prints/files.
