This fully customizable jig is designed to help anyone drill accurate dowel or pilot holes for joinery. By adjusting a few key parameters, you can generate a jig perfectly suited to your specific stock dimensions and drill bit size. 

You can use it with or without clamps but I would recommend having the stock with jig ontop flat on your workbench when using to prevent any issues with it moving. The design is intentionally done with batch drilling in mind to speed up the process of drilling dowel or pilot holes in multiple pieces at once.

Customizable Parameters (all in mm)

• Stock Width – Width of your material.
• Stock Thickness – Thickness of your material.
• Drill Bit Size – Diameter of the drill bit.
• Guide Hole Horizontal Offset – Distance from the vertical edge of the stock to the hole center.
• Guide Hole Vertical Offset – Distance from the top edge of the stock to the hole center.
• Guide Hole Allowance – Extra space for smooth drill bit entry (recommend at least 0.1mm).
• Wall Thickness – Default 3.2mm, adjustable as needed.

Printing Tips / Defaults

• I have personally been printing and using PLA+ to print this jig and haven't ran into any issues with damage to it but you can print in something tougher if your needs require it.
• The print settings I'd recommend using are:
  • 0.16mm Layer Height
  • 3 Wall Layers
  • 15% Gyroid Infill

Print Profiles

• 12mm (W) x 12mm (T) - 4mm Centered Hole
• 18mm (W) x 18mm (T) - 6mm  Centered Hole
• 25mm (W) x 15mm (T) - 6mm  Centered Hole (This is the default profile)
• 34mm (W) x 18mm (T) - 8mm  Centered Hole
• 44mm (W) x 18mm (T) - 8mm  Centered Hole
