Description

I designed this planter with a simple goal: bring fresh herbs into our daily cooking routine without sacrificing style.

My wife wanted something that didn’t just “sit” in the window — she wanted something that looked intentional, something that could spark conversation while still being functional. Most planters are either purely decorative or purely practical. This is both.

The flowing, sculpted exterior creates a sense of motion — almost like the planter is gently twisting upward — while the inner pot keeps things clean and efficient. The integrated lip makes watering easy and controlled, perfect for a kitchen setup where convenience matters.

Placed in a windowsill, this becomes more than just a planter — it becomes part of the space. Whether you're growing basil, mint, or small greens, it keeps fresh ingredients within reach while elevating the look of your kitchen.

Designed, printed, and tested in real use — this is not just a concept. It works.

Assembly Guide

  1. Print both components
    • Outer decorative shell
    • Inner planting pot
  2. Insert inner pot into outer shell
    • Align so the watering lip is accessible from the top
  3. Add watering strings through the printed holes
    • Ensure the strings stay at the bottom of the pot to absorb the water.
  4. Add soil and plant
    • Keep the string going up as far as you'd like the water to reach up the soil
  5. Fill water reservoir
    • Use the lip opening for easy watering
  6. Place in desired location
    • Ideal for windowsills or countertop use
