Bring a touch of maritime charm into your home with this Nautical Mini Tea Light Lantern, inspired by vintage ship lanterns and designed to create a warm, inviting glow.

You can print this lantern with a meshed shade as well as a tranlucent shade if you have translucent filament. It fits tea lights with a diameter of up to 40mm and  heights between 17-27mm. This model was designed in multiple parts so you don't need an AMS for printing in multi color.

Printing

I recommend printing with 0.16mm for best thread and support quality. The outer cage needs to be printed with tree supports, which detach very easy. Since the cage is fairly thin, still be careful when removing the supports!

The shade can be printed as a meshed version from basic / matte filament, or as a solid version with translucent filament. Since the shade holds the top and bottom together, you can't print it in vase mode.

Assembly

Assembly is very easy and takes less than a minute. No additional tools or parts are required, all parts screw into each other. 

First clip the handle into the lid, for this you need to bend it slightly. Now screw the lid on the shade, make sure the large opening is pointing up. Then you can screw the shade with lid into the lower part with the cage. You can now put a tea light inside and screw the base on.
