Description:
Tired of one-size-fits-all shelves? This fully parametric, customisable shelf lets you decide the exact dimensions you need — width, depth, height, and even bracket style — all adjustable before printing. Perfect for workshops, home offices, gaming setups, or craft rooms, this design adapts to your space instead of the other way around.
- 100% parametric: Scale every part to fit your exact requirements.
- Modular and adjustable: Add more tiers or resize as your storage needs grow.
- No supports required: Clean prints, every time.
- Strong and practical: Designed with durability and function in mind.
Whether you need a small organizer for your desk, a wall-mounted display for collectibles, or a heavy-duty shelf for tools, this design has you covered. Print it, tweak it, make it yours.
The shelf has been created with chamfers to the bed to reduce chances of the edges lifting on printing and give it a nicer look once up, I've also filleted all edges to reduce stress when printing, this again all adjusts when you customise.
I've printed and tested with Bambu PLA, but I am sure you could use some tougher material if you wanted added strength.
Adjustable Dimensions:
- Base_X - Length in mm of the main shelf in the X axis, the only limit is your build plate
- Base_Y - Length in mm of the main shelf in the Y axis, the only limit is your build plate
- Base_Z - The thickness of the actual shelf in mm, want a stronger shelf, make it thicker and add more infiltration or walls
- Bracket_Width - The thickness of the support arms, the default is 25mm, but adjust them to suit the size
- Bracket_Height - Length of the bracket arms in the Z axis, this will automatically adjust the hole positions and the other parts of the supports
- Hole_Diameter - Diameter of the hole where the screw goes into the wall or other fixing, adjust if you need bigger screws
- Screwhead_diameter - this is the hole in the angled part of the bracket which enables you to pass through the full screw and head into the back bracket, just adjust to slightly bigger than the screw heads used
