Why Another Socket Organizer?

I've bought many different toolbox organization systems over the years but there were always tradeoffs in terms of spacing and length. I've seen a number of modular systems that clip together but I wanted more options for customization. I wanted to maximize the space in my toolbox since I have a lot of sockets and not a ton of space. Also, most systems don't support large very large sockets or 3/4" drive so I made holders for these too. I've printed dozens of these on my X1C and H2D and they come out clean with a 0.4mm nozzle and tree supports turned on. 

The system allows rows of 30mm or 40mm width with different increments of spacing based on what you need for your 1/4, 3/8, & 1/2" sockets. It also supports 45mm and 60mm wide rows to accommodate those monster sockets that never seem to fit in the toolbox. If you have 3/4 drive sockets the 60mm wide rows will accommodate them comfortably. 

Each socket has a hole under it where you can insert an optional magnet to hold everything in place. I use a dab of super glue under each and use a pair of pliers to push the magnet into the hole. If you don't glue them, you may leave your magnet behind when you try to move them around in your toolbox.

• I use a pair of pliers to press the magnet into the holder like these: [https://amzn.to/4662ILt](https://amzn.to/4662ILt) but any pair of channel lock type pliers will work as well. 

I intentionally didn't base these on Gridfinity because I wanted maximum flexibility and the 42mm grid would force me to waste more space than I wanted to. That said, I can create a Gridfinity version if there is demand.
