I needed some sort of heavy-duty keychain display to use in a shop, and after printing some other models, I realised that none of them was strong enough and long-lasting (in my opinion) when people spin them around multiple times a day to look at the keychains.
So, after taking inspiration from some other displays that I "kinda' liked, I have decided to design my own display from scratch, and I am sharing it with you, maybe someone else is looking for a stronger display that does not bend or move around that much if you fill up all its arms with keychains.
Also, I have added that basket at the bottom to put some other non-keychain items in there, this also adds some weight to stop it from moving.
It can be printed fully with PLA, but I would recommend using PETG for the arms and maybe de spinners.
I have printed quite a few of these displays using the A1 printer with the settings from the attached 3mf file, and I had no problems so far.
If you want to change the settings, at least keep the modifiers from the 3mf file for the screw bits, and set 3 walls for the arms so that they don't deform under weight.
This does not require any additional hardware to assemble and use, just screw the bits together and lock the spinners with the pins and the little locking bits (I had no better idea how to name them, you'll figure it out).
If you have any suggestions to improve this design please let me know and maybe I'll try to make it better.
Also if you like this and want me to upload some other items I have designed, give me a like, write a comment or whatever…
Thanks for reading so far, cheers!
