Print Reccomendations:

• PLA for cleanest results
• Use dark, opaque top surface like black to get good backlight contrast (BL PLA Matte Charcoal used).
• Cap base should be translucent or semi-translucent such as white PLA.
• Test ironing setting on a single keycap if using an unfamiliar filament.
• Ironed finish profile is recommended in general but particularly with Textured PEI plates as they tend to exacerbate font sharpness issues when used with the plate finish profile.
• Smooth/3d effect plate users can use the Plate Finish profile for unique textures but this comes at the cost of more visible surface print lines, reduction in font sharpness, and the edge fillets becoming overhangs (lower quality rounded edges).
• For No AMS printing, add a pause on the last layer (layer 2 for Plate Finish profile) and manually unload/load filament before resuming print.

WARNING:

For all keys but especially longer keys such as space, backspace, enter, shift, etc only apply force above the center stem while fitting the caps. If you press down on the edges of the keys there is a risk that the stem will punch through the thin top layer of the cap requiring a reprint.
