Springy Desk Bot

A fun little robot printed in Bambu Lab Wood PLA with a blocky retro look. The head and arms are push-fit, so you can pose and adjust them to your liking.

The legs are where the magic happens – they’re fitted with two tiny springs (3mm OD × 10mm long) that give the bot a bouncy, wobbly feel when tapped. To hold the springs in place, I found that heating the ends and pressing them into the leg and body hole worked best – they melt in snugly and stay firm without glue.

It’s equal parts decoration, fidget toy, and conversation starter – a cheerful little bot for your desk or shelf.
