The Ultimate Modular Tablet Stand: Comfort & Versatility

This modular tablet stand was born from a simple need: a 3D-printable solution for using a tablet while lying down. But why stop there? I designed it to be completely modular, increasing its versatility so it also works as a stable desk stand, even allowing for negative viewing angles.

Choose Your Setup

• The Minimalist Stand (Plate 2): Perfect for a clean, stable setup on a desk or table.
• The Comfort Stand (Plates 1 & 2): Add the bottom lever for negative angles and the optional chest-hugging legs for a more secure, comfortable fit when you're relaxing on your stomach.
• The Wide-Grip Stand (Plates 1, 2, & 3): Have a bulky tablet case? Print the parts from Plate 3 to accommodate a wider grip without sacrificing stability.

The plates are quite packed, so feel free to split them to reduce the risk of a print failure. While everything was printed and tested at its current orientation, sometimes things happen!

Important Printing Parameters

If you're not using the sliced project files, here are some key parameters to keep in mind:

• Brim: Use a brim on all thin parts (I recommend 8mm inner and outer).
• Screws & Caps: Use a 40% gyroid infill and 5 walls for maximum strength.

Note: The first time you screw the caps on, you may need to apply a little extra force. After a couple of times, the fit should be perfect.

Assembly instructions are included to help you build the perfect stand for your needs. 

I've also included all the STL files, so you can easily modify them to make it your own!

*the images from the blue version are the most updated ones - the only difference from the 3mf added is that now the front hugging legs sockets are slide-ins as some might not want them at all.
