Gengar Shadowbox - 3D Printed RGB Light Display

Create a stunning Gengar shadowbox by 3D printing layered parts that stack to build a colorful silhouette, finished with a frame and RGB lights for an amazing glowing effect!

No AMS needed to make this!

Unfortunately, due to its size, it is not compatible with the A1 mini, but if you have one and really want it, you can scale down the model to fit and if it works well, I can then add a profile for the A1 mini.

How to Assemble:

1. Printing:
   Print the layers in the colors shown or choose your own color scheme.

    

   

    

2. Frame Printing:
   Print the frame parts—the outer frame, cover, and the layer locker—that hold the layers securely together.

    

   

    

3. Layer Assembly:
   Stack and assemble the printed layers as demonstrated in the video tutorial (or in the Photo below).

    

   

    

4. Attach LEDs:
   Attach the RGB LEDs to the back of the shadowbox. I used:
   • AliExpress WS2812B DC5V IP30 LEDs

   • AliExpress WS2812B controller
     and soldered the wires myself.
     Alternatively, you can use the WS2812B RGB LED Strip Light available from Makers Supply.

      

     

      

5. Final Step:
   Put the frame cover on and enjoy your glowing Gengar shadowbox!
