I'm excited to share a major update to my TPU strap project. After listening to your feedback I designed a longer version so that it would be more functional.

This new model is made of two 3D-printable parts:

• The TPU Strap: This flexible and durable part. Printed sideways. TPU is the perfect material, providing the elasticity needed for a secure hold. I have now made 3 lenghts :

  • 300 mm
  • 660 mm
  • 1200 mm

  More will come, feel free to ask for a custom lenght you might need.

   

• The PETG/ABS/Nylon Hook: The part that handles the most tension is now a separate hook for ease of printing. Designed to be printed in a more rigid material like PETG, ABS, or Nylon. This ensures maximum strength, prevents breakage, and guarantees long-lasting durability. You will need to remove the small support to reveal the strap hole

• Easy to Assemble: The two pieces fit together easily after printing.

Printing Recommendations

• Strap: I printed mine with 95A TPU but softer TPU may be nicer as it will ne more elastique. Use 3 prerimeters with a 0.4mm nozzle.
• Hook: Print this in PETG, ABS, or Nylon for optimal rigidity. At 0.2mm layer height and, 6 perimeters.
