This is an Ender 3 Pro based CNC!
We now have a Discord!

Check out the Github changelog for any bigger updates/changes as times goes on.
Small Changelog:
29.07.25
- Cleaned up CAD a bit, new CAD uploaded today that is ONLY for the cheap version that is tested and works. There will not be more updates to this CAD version unless issues arrise.
- New CAD with mods/upgrades will be coming soon. MGN rails etc. More info? join the Discord.
28.07.25
- Removed old dremel clamp and old Z carriage from STL's. [still available in CAD]
- Added BEEFY version of the dremel clamp.
- Added .step for BEEFY clamp only if you dont want the full CAD to adjust it. [printables]
- Added new Z carriage for the BEEFY clamps [does not fit with the old dremel clamp]
- Removed faceplate from Printables, does not fit the new BEEFY clamps [Will come back soon]
- As always, there is no way for me to test the clamps on every “clone” of a dremel. You'll have to print a test and adjust as needed.
- Added splash_guard to printables. Limits dust to the belt paths. [ only works if the spoilboard is under 24mm thick]
- Full credit to Shadowphyre for the new BEEFY dremel clamps.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Reusing as much as possible from the Ender 3 PRO down to the screws.
- As of now BOM cost is ~60$ on Aliexpress (without sale/coupons) not counting the Ender 3 PRO or dremel/spindle. But chances are you have some of the BOM laying around already.
- GPL-3.0 license!
- Easy to scale up or down to any size if not using Ender 3 Pro frame.
- Easy to fit any small size cheap spindle.
- Can be run on Klipper, only needs slight tweaks to some macros and a few new ones for easy setup! (Already working and will be uploaded to the GitHub page)
Reusing from the Ender 3 Pro:
- Frame
- Steppers
- Wires (need to extend some)
- Leadscrew
- Leadscrew nut
- Coupler
- MCU
- PSU
- Most of the nuts and bolts
- Vslot wheels
- Alu spacers
- Screen if you want
WIP BOM: HERE
User mods:
- Original Ender endstop PCB mount - By Shadowphyre
- Alt. Z carriage round leadnut - By Jormundgand
- Belt tensioner by Patryk
My setup:
Im just running the original MCU with Klipper for the control and Fusion360 for CAM (free version) with a klipperized post processor. So far no real issues. You might want to swap to a board with TMC control (skr pico/micro4) if you really want to push it. Im using an old laptop with Ubuntu with klipper on as a substitute for a Raspberry pi.
You can of course go the GRBL route if you want. I just wanted to use Klipper since people coming from 3D printers are somewhat familiar with that.
NOTE! No design history in Fusion sadly. Only 2 dremel-clones have been tested to fit, yours might need tweaks to the dremel clamp system. If you need help please contact me and ill do my best. There will be clamps for Makita 700 router and various 200-800W Ali spindles.
Print settings I used: PLA+, 5 wall, 5 top, 5 bottom, 40% gyroid.
Macros for XYZ-0 positioning here.
Story:
I had a wish to learn more CAD and had lots of random parts laying around, tossed them into Fusion and started working on it.
This lead to the birth of the “old” project Endercnc. Based on only parts i already had laying around, making this a mix of an Ender 3 Pro and the Ender 4.
After working on it and testing it out it worked way better that i would have expected, but it felt “finished” but not really buildable for others without a bigger BOM cost.
So, what do a lot of people have sitting around collecting dust? Ender 3 Pro's! So I set out to make a new cheaper and easier to build version that is ONLY based on the Ender 3 Pro, down to the screws!
Special thanks to Steve for beta testing and ideas. Crys and Neohhhh for valuable input and ideas!
