DIN Rail Mounting Clips

Print-in-place spring and slide

Accepts M3 threaded inserts

Two sizes offered with 40x30mm or 30x30mm threaded insert hole patterns

This was designed to support a 16 bay rack to hold RC Snubbers sold by Shelly.  I'll post that model too after it is put into service and is validated.

Printing

• 0.4mm Nozzle
• 0.2mm Layer Height
• PLA, Dual Color for text, 3 color changes
• Text is a separate component, but don't delete it (will leave holes in the clip).
  To print in single color, make it the same color as the clip.
• Parameters above are set in the print profiles

Post-Printing

The print-in-place spring latch on the DIN Mount will need to be broken free.  If it doesn't with a little bit of finger pressure, use a small screw driver in the chamfered areas indicated in the picture above.  Allow the clip to cool completely beforehand to avoid spring memory loss.   

As with all horizontally mounted DIN Rail devices, you'll want to orient the clip on the bottom side of the rail.  That way, if the spring fails, your device will be less likely to fall from the rail.

Dimensions

DIN Rail Mounting Clip 40x30 version

• Overall 50x50x14mm (add about 7.5mm for standard DIN Rail)
• Bolt patterns for attaching racks or other components are 40x30mm and 40x20mm

DIN Rail Mounting Clip 30x30 version

• Overall 40x50x14mm (add about 7.5mm for standard DIN Rail)
• Bolt pattern for attaching racks or other components are 30x30mm

Hardware required

If used with the DIN Mounting Block:

• (4) M3 threaded inserts
