CD/DVD Wall Mounting System

Welcome to my disc mounting system I have created. I personally made this to hang game discs on my wall with some displate posters to showcase some of my favourite games in a creative manner. The files require no supports or modification after print.

The system is modular, so you can print whatever you need for however many discs you want to hang. 

Brackets

Overall Dimensions - 100mm x 35mm x 8mm

The brackets mount the disc on a 120mm perch, with a threaded spindle to secure the disc with the caps. The design slightly raises the disc off the surface to help prevent any damage. With the cap screwed in place, the disc is free to spin on the spindle, again to prevent damage from the cap clamping down onto the inner surface of the disc. 

Two 4mm screwholes are counter-sunk to ensure screw heads don't touch the surface of the disc, and allow for secure mounting to walls and surfaces. Appropriate screws need to be used when mounting the bracket to the wall. The ends are dovetailed to allowed multiple brackets to be linked in series with connector blocks.

Connectors

Overall Dimensions - 35mm x 35mm x 8mm

Connector blocks can be used to link together as many brackets as required. They can be kept in place once mounted, or used to align brackets and removed once mounted to a wall or surface to provide clear space between multiple discs.  They feature dovetailed ends to securely attach to brackets.

Caps

Overall Dimensions - 20mm x 20mm x 15mm

Caps screw onto the brackets and secure the disc to it. The feature knurling around the outside to aid with grip. Caps can be multi-coloured to suit a particular design or theme if required.
