Gemstone Crab – The Crystalbound Sentinel

Forged by ancient geologic magic deep beneath the surface world, Gemstone Crabs are living relics of the earth’s memory. Their crystalline shells are not merely armor, but conduits of primal energy—each crab is bonded to a specific gemstone type, granting it elemental traits and arcane resistances tied to that gem’s essence.

Legends speak of them as guardians of long-forgotten vaults, silent watchers of ruined dwarven cities, and companions to druids who seek communion with the mineral spirits of the world. Some believe the largest among them contain entire lost prophecies etched into their gem-thrones, refracted through time and stone.

Rarely seen on the surface, a Gemstone Crab’s appearance is considered either a sign of immense fortune… or an omen that the land itself is about to awaken.
