Modular Art Storage — Flexible & Expandable Organizer for Creators

This is a modular, compact, and expandable storage system I designed to organize various art supplies — from markers and pens to brushes and small electronics. Whether you’re an artist, designer, maker, or hobbyist, this system helps keep your desk neat and adaptable.

Key Features

• Modular Widths: 6 unit sizes — including 1×1, 1×2, 1×3, 2×1, and 2×2 — that snap together seamlessly.
• Modular Lengths: Short (120 mm) and Long (150 mm) modules fit a wide range of tools.
• Compact Tilted Design: Each row is angled at 6.2°, keeping modules tightly packed while maintaining visibility and access.
• Expandable System: Two types of connectors (side and back) let you build in any direction.
• Lightweight Walls: Perforated internal pattern reduces filament use and print time without compromising strength.
   

Print Settings

Modules:

• Material: PLA or PETG recommended
• Layer Height: 0.2 mm
• Supports: Required for drawers only
• Infill: 10–15% is sufficient
• Scale: Print at 100% for correct fit (unit width = 52.9 mm, height = 35.0 mm)

Connections:

• Material: PLA or ABS (with Glass Fibre) the more friction of the material the better fit for the structure
• Layer Height: 0.2 mm
• Supports: Not required
• Infill: 10–15% is sufficient
• Scale: Print at 100% for correct fit
