Tree Candy - Garden Lantern — STL Grátis

Hey there! :)

This, is the Tree Candy: a hanging and delicious-looking tea light lantern! I was going for a “garden fairy meets Wily Wonka” kinda vibe.

I tried to keep this design as simple and accessible as I could. This print needs no support; the assembly is quite easy and intuitive, and I believe that it even suits a variety of colors of translucent filament. So I hope a lot of you can enjoy this cute candy light!

How it works:

This lantern is compatible with tealight candles with a diameter between 37 & 39 mm.
It can be used both as a hanging lantern and a table-top light.
The candle on & off button is accessible even after the assembly.

How to print perfectly:

Print with 0.2 mm layer heights. Make sure the support option is disabled.
Enable the brims. The shade needs a relatively large brim, about 15 or 20 mm.
Reduce the infill percentage to 0% for the shade. Instead, increase the wall count to 3.
The infill for the base, connector, and handle is best at about 20%.
