This system repurposes the top faceplates of the Underware 2.0 cable management system into functional light diffusers, perfectly designed for COB LED strips. The faceplates feature a hexagonal light pattern that glows through a two-color print, giving off a clean, futuristic aesthetic. Fully compatible with Multiboard.

⚙️ System Components

Compatible with Underware 2.0's threaded snap connectors and channels, you can find more customizations in her post, the Light Bearer System comes complete with what you would need, it includes:

• 1x1, 1x3, 1x5, 1x7, 1x9 faceplate & channel sets
• C-small and C-large curved faceplate & channel sets
• Diagonal faceplate & channel
• L-channel (corner) faceplate & channel
• Threaded Snap Connectors

💡 All channels include baseplate holes, so you can also install directly onto drywall using self-tapping or anchor screws — no Multiboard required.

🧱 How to Print the Light Diffuser

To achieve the glowing hex-grid effect:

1. Start the faceplate print with 2 layers of white filament.
2. Perform a filament change to black (or any contrasting base color) for the rest of the print.
3. Print the channels and connectors in standard black PLA. (I printed my connectors in red to match my Multiboard aesthetic).
4. Snap a COB LED strip into the channel, then press the faceplate in place.
