🧱 Modular Wall Holder – Version 1 (Proof of Concept)

🛠️ Project Overview

This is the first finalized version of a fully modular wall-mounted holder system, designed to support various accessories like hooks, router mounts, cable guides, and more – all 3D-printable and customizable.

The system works in 3 parts:

• A wall base plate (screwed directly into the wall)
• A front plate (slides into the base and locks via a built-in latch)
• Interchangeable accessory modules (hooks, spacers, adapters…) that snap into the front plate

➡️ The screws are fixed to the wall through the base plate, but once the front plate is inserted, the mounting screws are fully hidden, creating a clean, elegant appearance with no visible fixings.

🧩 Modules are based on standard vertical sizes: 20mm or 40mm height.

This is a Proof of Concept (POC), the result of many iterations and a lot of time and testing.

📦 Included Files

Two .3mf project files are provided:

• 20mm modules: compact, low-profile accessories
• 40mm modules: larger or heavy-duty accessories

The current version includes 2  fixed base/front plate width per veion (20mm and 40mm), which defines how many modules can be inserted side-by-side.

🧱 I can provide alternative widths (shorter or longer base plates) to fit more or fewer modules, depending on your needs – feel free to ask!

All accessories are pre-arranged for easy printing.

This is a working, print-ready concept, but I’m actively improving it.

🔧 I currently provide only 220mm-wide front plates, but I’m happy to create custom widths to support more or fewer accessory slots. Just send me your requirements.

🧠 Background

Originally developed to hold Wi-Fi routers on the wall – since most routers have odd mounting holes – this system quickly evolved into a universal wall-mounted modular organizer for electronics, cables, tools, and more.
