I have printed out lots infinity cube/squares and passthroughs. I used Rubik cube stands to mild succes for displaying on my desk. Recently I have been printing out more of Taylormadearmy's hollow infinity cubes and adding things like marbles and beads. This really makes a typical cube display not work.
I needed something that supported the full edge of the cube to keep the fidget closed! This is my stand design. Created in Tinkercad, mostly symmetrical, stackable and fun!
I have included the sizes I needed for my cube, but size it for your own! adjust the height to be √(2*(A^2)), where A is the length of the side of your cube. I designed it to reach the edges of my cubes, but as long as it covers the joint plus a little more, it should support it.
Printed in PLA (silk, translucent, basic) and petg. no supports needed
there is a plate with a modifier to make the base 100% infill to help balance really big/heavy cubes.
