Cable channel mounting in the Multiboard-based Underware 2.0 system is by the use of threaded snap connectors - see Underware 2.0 - Infinite Cable Management! for details. The connectors screw in to the threaded holes in the base of the channels and can then be mounted onto Multiboard tiles. The threaded snap connectors are very strong, and can actually be difficult to get in and out of the Multiboard tiles once everything is mounted under a desk, shelf, etc. Also, there are times when existing snap connectors for the Multiboard tiles mean you can't put a threaded snap connector exactly where you would like.

The Hex Bolt Connector combines a screw thread with a hexagonal bolt sized for a snap connector. If you have good print tolerances, you will find it will be a snug fit in a snap connector, but still easier to remove than a full threaded snap connector. It should also be able to sustain any basic cable channel needs. Your mileage will vary based on the mass of the cabling, the type of filament used, and, as noted, your printer tolerances.
