Gridfinity with interchangeable Flex-Labels

Looking for a way to make interchangeable labels for my Gridfinity bins, I came across the FlexBox2 - Versatile Gridfinity Crate which has an excellent interchangeable label system.

I designed lip inserts to be installed in any 0.8 mm wall Gridfinity bin. The labels sit low enough that they do not interfere with the stacking and the bin above does not rest on the label.

How does it work?
The lip profile adds a recess between the second lip under the stacking lip to hold the label. This does not interfere with the stacking.

This allows you to add an additive modifier to any existing bin STL with a reduced lip or a negative modifier to any standard lip STL.

What about existing bins?

I have already printed many bins without this revised lip profile. So I created a 1 unit spacer that uses the interchangeable label lip.

With this, you can have the bin, the spacer and the label all in different colors.

Flex-Labels print quickly. With 22 % ironing, they are very smooth and accept printed labels well. Text could be added in the slicer.

The labels are interchangeable with the FlexBox2 and labels.

1x1 profile: 5 plates – mix plate 1 each, three full plates 4 unit, 6 unit, and 8 unit heights and a single 1 unit plate

1x2 profile: 5 plates – mix plate 1 each, three full plates 4 unit, 6 unit, and 8 unit heights and a single 1 unit plate

2x2 profile: 5 plates – mix plate 1 each, three full plates 4 unit, 6 unit, and 8 unit heights and a single 1 unit plate

If there are any specific sizes or heights that you might need let me know.

This modified lip profile could be integrated as the replacement for the original lip in generators and not loose any functions already using the lip - like snap-on  lids, etc.
