Skadis Shelf Support

This shelf support is designed for the IKEA Skadis system and is available in various depths (60–200 mm) and heights to accommodate different load scenarios. Each bracket features two screw holes for securing a wooden board on top—use panhead screws for optimal mounting.

Important usage tips:

Ensure the wooden shelf is not significantly deeper than the support bracket. As a rule of thumb, the shelf should not exceed 150% of the support depth. For example, a 200 mm support should carry a shelf no deeper than 300 mm.
For heavier loads, add additional supports between the outer brackets to reduce stress and improve stability.

The parts are printed on their side to maximize strength and durability. STL files include only one side; all provided print profiles include the mirrored version as well. If you're creating your own print profile from scratch, be sure to mirror the part accordingly.

To accommodate different board thicknesses there are two profiles available:

4.8mm Hooks Clearance for thinner boards.
5.0mm Hooks Clearance for thicker boards.

To determine your board's thickness, use the Hooks Clearance Tester provided. For additional stability, consider adding the Compensation Plate if the printed part doesn’t offer enough friction with your board.
